Description: Allium cepa. Hybrid. Yellow, Vidalia, short day storage onion. Midseason Granex type with light gold scales, flat globe Granex shape, capable of high packout of Colossal to Jumbo grade bulbs with good sugar readings and low pungency. Bulbs very uniform and store well. Bred for Vidalia market growers. Disease resistant variety. Resistance to pink root and Fusarium basal rot. About 160 days to maturity.

Century is a midseason hybrid yellow granex designed by Seminis for Vidalia Onion growers. A Large Yellow Granex touted for productivity, Which I found wanting. Most erratic in size of any type of Yellow Granex that I have grown.
